Class seven students not yet have new books at Homna

Homna(Comilla)Correspondent
Class seven students at Homana under Comilla district have not yet have new books though two months have been passed away since the book festival day on January 1. Nearly two thousands boys and girls are deprived from getting the new books and finding no other way they compelled to study old books collected from the senior ones began to study. However, they there faced a great problem as the syllabus of the old and new are not the same. A new problem is waiting for them to embrace while they go to appear in the examinations. Questions papers would be made based on new syllabus whereas the students are going to sit preparing in old syllabus. They certainly would score little marks than the students who follow the new syllabus. Hanif Mia, headmaster of Mathabhanga Bhairab High School told the teaching activities also hampered for not getting the new books on Mathematics, Bengali; English first paper, Science, Social science and Religion. When contacted upazila secondary education officer Nazrul Islam told we already have applied to higher authority seeking new books for class seven. Hoping very soon they will have the books.
